IS IT JUST ANOTHER RE:FRAME?
and after all, there is no finish line - again.

in this edition, i'm sharing:
• saying good bye to 2025
• setting goals and getting things done w/ chatGPT
• re:framing WÆRE - failure to success
2025 felt like another roller coaster. the year of the snake meant more than shedding once; it was a constant process of letting go. letting go of the persona dajana eder, letting go of my ego, but also of how i imagined my life. how i thought motherhood would be. letting go of my profession, of how i believed i would start businesses, even letting go of my long hair. after all, there is no finish line could be a returning theme. the end of a year doesn’t mean you’re done or that you’ve arrived; it simply means you learned and adjusted along the way. still, starting a new year is a chance to reflect and to set goals. the year of the horse has arrived with fire. this is the energy you need. love, d.
SETTING GOALS AND GETTING THINGS DONE W/ CHATGPT
we’ve all learned how to set goals with intention. but i want to share one tool i’m actively using to set goals and actually get things done. for me, goals have to be smart. not in a corporate sense, but in a grounded one: real, achievable, specific. what exactly do i want, and by when.
my goals for 2026 look like this:
publish a printed workbook based on my personal branding coachings | until march
launch the pre-order for the wære bae tank (if you’re not on the list yet, sign up here) | until february
civil wedding | april
travel to lisbon and find out if this could be our place | june
move to another country, maybe lisbon | december/january
once the goals are defined, i move into imagining them. how does it feel once it’s done. what does it look like. what’s the energy. sometimes i write this down as a short future snapshot, sometimes i build moodboards. this step matters more than we think, because it creates emotional clarity and commitment before the work even starts.
then i zoom all the way in. instead of asking “how do i get there,” i ask: what is the very first step. what can i realistically do within the next seven days to get this moving. no pressure to solve everything, just enough action to create momentum.
this is where chatgpt becomes my thinking partner. not to replace my intuition, but to challenge it, structure it, and reflect it back to me more clearly. the quality of the output depends entirely on the quality of the prompt, so here are the ones i actually use.
helpful prompts
“i want you to help me achieve my goals for 2026. here is the context: [describe your goals, current situation, available time, resources, and constraints]. ask me reflective questions about my goals that touch on my desires, fears, blind spots, and current struggles.”
“let’s break down the goal of [specific goal]. evaluate possible first steps with me. what matters most right now, what can wait, and what might be unnecessary. suggest concrete actions, tools, and a realistic timeframe for the next 7, 30, and 90 days.”
“act as a strategic but honest partner. challenge my assumptions where needed, but keep the plan achievable and aligned with my values and energy.”
the goal isn’t perfection. it’s movement. clarity first, action second, adjustment always. and don’t forget people about your goals.

RE:FRAMING WÆRE - FAILURE TO SUCCESS
it still somehow feels like failure. i had a plan, something close to a business plan. i had agreements, timelines, and deadlines. but life proved to me that sometimes all you can do is re-act. because when one thing becomes challenging, it’s usually not the only one. things stack. pressure multiplies. i had to understand that disappointment often starts with yourself and only then reaches other people. this isn’t just life, it’s very common in business. i took it personally. it didn’t sit well with me and it held me back from moving on, from taking the next steps. for a while, i genuinely believed i had failed all the way through.
but the truth is simpler and harder at the same time: some plans don’t work out as imagined. and when that happens, the only real option is to adjust and communicate, not to freeze or stop altogether. it is not a failure to open the pre-order at the end of january instead of december. maybe it’s even the better timeline. january is quieter, people are more intentional with their choices. december is loud, everyone is selling you something, everyone is overwhelmed, trying to control tasks and deadlines.
it took me almost three weeks to reframe the situation so i could set new goals and take first steps again. but now we’re here.

NOTE2SELF
today i asked myself — maybe it’s just my neurodivergent brain, in the way i often do — is this really my life? my apartment? even my furniture? when someone enters this space, they’ll probably find it nice. but it doesn’t carry my signature. it’s a short-term, money-versus-possibilities solution. we had to act fast, with a limited budget. and when people step in and give compliments, i always say “thank you,” while inside it’s more of a “… but well.” life and circumstances sometimes force you to move in certain ways. this happens to everyone. but nothing has to stay the way it is.
i am capable of starting over again. of recreating. of building the way i imagine.
