NEW YEAR, OLD SELF?
new year but what do we really expect to change? simple hacks to achieve your 2025 goals. the english version of my book is in the works.

new year, but old self? because nothing changes if nothing changes. the world keeps turning, and the signs point to a future that feels more uncertain than ever — especially with the news that has already hit us since january 1st. i experienced a good take away: i’ve never received as many messages on my newsletter as i did last time. it showed me that, at least here, i can find a spark of hope.
in this edition, i’ve packed a few powerful neuronal and chatgpt hacks to help you achieve your 2025 goals. these are small, practical steps you can use right away to stay consistent and make real progress.
btw, the title of the english version of my book will be: “ the book i wrote that saved my brand awareness.” what do you think? it’s packed with way more content than the german edition — deeper insights, more value, and fresh perspectives.
let’s make 2025 the year of action, not just intention.
NEW YEAR but OLD SELF?
“explain it so that a dog will understand,” said Chase Hughes about turning “goals” into habits and actions. this is especially true when creating a vision board that truly works for you. yes, you read that right: vision boards actually work when they’re simple to understand and you can clearly see yourself in them. the creation process will be motivating, the first steps will require discipline, but eventually, it becomes a habit — something automatic, like brushing your teeth, no need to discuss.
ONE STEP AT A TIME
this isn’t just a saying; it’s a strategy. focusing on one step at a time helps you stay grounded and move forward without getting lost in overwhelming tasks. and this is where chatgpt can make a real difference. chatGPT can help you design a step-by-step plan tailored to your needs and timeline.
let’s aim higher, dream big. make it meaningful. maybe it’s starting a business, learning new skills, or finally taking control of your finances. whatever it is, let’s break it down and take it step by step. and here is where AI jumps in. | /prompt: help me make my vision board come true. one goal is financial freedom. by the end of 2025, i want to have €5k in my savings account for spendings. i also want to start investing in ETFs and stocks and learn about crypto to start investing there too. since i don’t know anything about these topics, i need you to set up a monthly plan, starting in january, with an overview and a special focus for each month to help me reach my goal. define clear steps. adjust this prompt as you need it. |
in the next step, take your notebook or a large sheet of paper and write down the steps. to connect with your journey on multiple levels add some pictures, play music, who are your role models? can you add a smell or colors? so that you can truly see yourself in it. happy creating!
ATTENTION: you liked this hack and want to share it? don’t forget to credit me or ask for permission. if you’re using it commercially or you want some prompts for your company? hit me up and let’s create.

NOTE2SELF
“the grass is never greener on the other side. you are the master of your thoughts and actions. we only grow when we share as honestly as possible with each other.”
the last copy of re:frame received more than 30 replies, over 60 new registrations, almost 700 recipients in total, and an open rate of more than 70% — what a recap. this is, why i stick to this idea.
people often think that others have it so much easier in life. everything seems to go well, and money just flows. but the truth is, we all hustle and struggle. the topics may differ, but the challenges are valid nonetheless, and there’s no need to compare them. thinking, “i had to do more” or “my problem is heavier than someone else’s” doesn’t help. sometimes, i even wish i could swap my struggles with someone else’s. but no.
one of the biggest challenges for me recently has been the loneliness that comes with pregnancy. don’t get me wrong, i am totally fine by myself and do not feel lonely or alone but i did not see it coming, to spend so much time on my own. the spaces where i used to meet people regularly have changed. i used to spend time at the gym (but my goals shifted, and i wasn’t compatible with my usual training partners) or at events and on stages, but that’s no longer my reality. two big factors changed this: first, my job shifted drastically, and second, traveling during pregnancy became less appealing. my energy levels are lower, my social battery draines faster, and sometimes, people decided for me that traveling would be too much. as a result, i wasn’t invited.
somehow, it feels like people now primarily see me as a mum. they remind me to take care of my unborn baby, to relax and take it easy. they suggest joining mum or mum-2-be groups, but i don’t see myself fitting in there. for many mums who are employed, these groups might be a welcomed “break” from work, but it’s different for me. my mind never stands still. i’m constantly working on business ideas. i’m an entrepreneur who’s always building and creating.
i’ve had conversations with other self-employed mums, and many of their challenges mirror my own. it’s comforting to know i’m not alone in navigating this path.
at the end of the day, what matters most is my perspective, my goals, and how i choose to move forward. and above all, i’m filled with joy and anticipation as i prepare to welcome a beautiful baby who will undoubtedly teach me lessons i still need to learn. as this is the first copy in 2025, i also had to put my IN’s and OUT’s in here. as reminder and as inspiration. love d.
