RIGHT BEFORE YOU CONSIDER TO STOP, REMEBER WHY YOU STARTED.
every coach has it's own coach because self-doubt is real and comes in different colors and shades.
in this edition, i'm sharing:
- remember why you started
- 5-4-3-2-1 grounding technique
- habits for high performers
it’s always the voices around you, the ones closest to you, that are the loudest. and if friends or family tell you you’re not doing a great job, or, in my case, that I’m sharing too much private stuff and it sounds very needy, i really start to wonder whether i want to continue. and then, all of a sudden, the universe wanted to tell me something. one woman wrote me and said: “i’m reading your newsletter, every word and i just want to tell you how much i enjoy it.” and just like that, the circle closes again. because no matter how many women, how many brands i’ve pushed and supported in the last decade, when it comes to my personal stuff, i’m the same vulnerable person as anyone else in their own situation: publishing something, creating their brand, going out into the world with what they have to offer.
i was talking to my friend svenja, just in our usual chit-chat and we realized: both of us, very strong, outgoing women, feel the same thing. the moment it comes to our own work, self-doubt is one of our closest companions. self-doubt follows us. we post once on social media - an offer - and if nobody replies, we think: okay let’s stop. and then i remember my friend nicole. she always tells me: “oh my gosh, you’re so amazing. you have so much to offer. you’ve already prepared everything. you just need to go out, post, tell people. repeat. you’ll find your community. you’ll find the people who are happy with your offer.”
and so i continue writing and sharing my truest thoughts.

REMEBER WHY YOU STARTED
right before you consider stopping, remember why you started. it’s easy to get distracted, to fail — but then get up and fix yourselfand as i know best myself, this isn’t easy. i surround myself with people who match my vibe. this is why every coach needs support - because if you're not constantly learning, you stop growing. and when you stop growing, you can reach a point where you no longer have much to offer your followers or your clients. that’s why i personally prefer mastermind sessions with others in business. because we don’t just support each other — we learn from one another.
we mentor each other through situations: one person may have already been there, while another is just entering that same phase or challenge.
we don’t all need to make the same mistakes over and over.
we just need to listen.
we need to share.
we need to learn from each other’s experiences.
you want an easy entry in masterminds, start listening to podcasts and find yourself a group of people. open a whatsapp chat. right now i am listening to “aspire w/ emma grande”, she’s a serial founder for example skims and interviews guests like michelle obama, meghan, duchess of sussex, gwyneth paltrow and many more.
ADVERTORIAL why does something so natural have to be this hard?every breastfeeding journey is different - and you can’t compare one to another. but what is important is that we talk about it. the magic and the pain. and when we need help, we should feel safe to ask for it. i felt overwhelmed, like i was failing at something that was supposed to come naturally. after a few weeks i got a hands-free pump, and it gave me back a sense of autonomy, control, and time. it made travel possible, reduced stress, and allowed the baby’s dad to participate more and bond in new ways.this isn’t just a gadget - it’s support. thx to @momcozy_de for the sample. *gifted read more on . |
5-4-3-2-1 GROUNDING TECHNIQUE
there is a form of meditation that immediately brings you into the present moment. it involves using your awareness deliberately. for example, when entering a room or shifting your focus inward. this practice is often called the "5-4-3-2-1 grounding technique." it helps anchor you in the now by engaging all five senses:
5 – see: look around and identify five things you can see. try to notice details you might usually overlook. colors, shapes, or textures.
4 – touch: bring attention to four things you can feel. this could be the texture of your clothing, the surface you're sitting on, or the temperature of the air.
3 – hear: listen carefully and identify three different sounds. they might be obvious or subtle. nearby voices, distant traffic, or even your own breathing.
2 – smell: notice two different smells. you might need to move or focus intentionally. your surroundings, your clothes, or even your skin might offer subtle scents.
1 – taste: focus on one thing you can taste. it could be the aftertaste of a meal, a sip of water, or simply the inside of your mouth.
this technique is especially helpful during moments of stress, anxiety, or overwhelm. it gently brings your mind back to the body and the present reality.
NOTE2SELF
building a brand, i have to ask myself, what makes the difference? what really drives me to make a purchase? what does the brand represent and do i resonate with the values. how does this brand make me feel? why will i buy again? love d.
5 HABITS FOR HIGH PERFORMERS
thankfulness / gratefulness
practice gratitude in a way that’s expressed, specific, and personal. share your appreciation directly with someone. it strengthens connection and shifts perspective.inspiration / learning from within
aim to learn at least one new thing each day. the more you learn, the more you can learn. curiosity compounds.invest in yourself / meditation
take time to recharge so you can offer the best version of yourself, not just what's left over. this could be meditation, a short walk, or simply a few quiet minutes alone each day.exercise
consistency comes easier when it’s social. make it collaborative or competitive. movement energizes both body and mind.sleep
high performers protect their sleep. it boosts recovery, focus, and long-term resilience.
and many people search for meaning through their work, but meaning doesn't have to come from your profession alone. what makes something meaningful is its connection to purpose. your job doesn’t have to check every box, it can support you without fully defining you. purpose can live outside of titles and tasks. it might show up in how you relate to others, what you create, or how you grow.
the key is to stay connected to what matters to you and let that guide how you move through the world.
you made a powerful decision for yourself by reading RE:FRAME to the end. let’s turn that power into action - add five more in: five forwards to friends, five shares, or simply your five mins of reflections. your next step matters.
